OUR MISSION

You can’t attack asthma without a plan of action.

That’s why we’re unifying severe asthma experts, advocates and innovators in order to overcome the challenges of living with severe asthma. One day. Five European countries. Many asthma specialists, one common mission. To attack asthma, together.

Turning insights into action

Our 4-step plan of attack starts with our Innovation Council creating a Challenge Brief. As a team, you find answers
to that brief at a national Solutions Day Summit. We then choose the best idea and make it happen.

/

1. INNOVATION COUNCIL

A pan-European committee of severe asthma patients, experts, advocates and innovators. Their challenge? To identify a key issue and create a single-minded Challenge Brief.

/

2. CHALLENGE BRIEF

The Challenge Brief helps us focus our efforts, defining one clear severe asthma problem for you to attack at national Solutions Day Summit events across Europe.

/

3. SOLUTIONS DAY SUMMIT

Patients and professionals join together in countries across Europe. They discuss innovative ideas and reach a consensus on their most powerful answer to the Challenge Brief.

/

4. TURNING IDEAS INTO ACTION

We take the strongest ideas from the Solutions Day Summits and turn them into tangible programmes and prototypes. They’re then unveiled to the world.

WHAT IS SEVERE ASTHMA?

A HUGE GLOBAL CHALLENGE

5% to 10% of asthma cases are classified as severe. That’s up to 35 million people around the world who live with symptoms that can hugely disrupt their lives.1,2

Severe asthma that isn’t well controlled is also known as uncontrolled asthma and all sorts of barriers can stand in the way of achieving better control. You can find out more at our Next Breath website, which is full of information and resources.

GET INVOLVED

IT’S TIME TO TAKE ON ASTHMA AND WIN.

Living with severe asthma is different for everyone, but the symptoms can have a huge impact. They disrupt working lives, put a strain on relationships and stop people doing the things they love. As new scientific breakthroughs expand the possibilities for treatment, now is the time to fight back.
